The 12th of September
few left to remember
those dead on the 11th day.
The 12th of September
the ashes and ember
like snow in fantasy’s sway.
The 12th of September
coldest day in December
for those perished away.
The 12th of September
I will always remember
the day heaven became their way.
Let’s not forget those, the 12th of September
for the 12th of September, few left to remember
is sadder than the saddest day.
